Stop trying to be perfect through others lens.

Have you ever sat there with a heart full of feelings ready to confess? But once your finger tips lay on that keyboard, strangely enough, the letter doesn’t make sense anymore. It doesn’t come out as how your heart was feeling. It seem as the words were misplaced. You read it out loud over and over again to make sure it sounds right, but instead it didn’t make sense. Subsequently, your first action is backspacing with frustration because it wasn’t “perfect.” Let me tell you, when your heart speaks, deleting those words is not the utmost idea. The ones you delete may be the ones that are the most important. It is not about the vocabulary, how well or poor your grammar is; it is not about how stupid you may perceive it, what matter is how you truly feel. The letter didn’t make sense to begin with because you were afraid of what others might think of you and your writing, but not how you felt, am I correct? Not everything has to be well written. Now ask yourself, years from now, “when I look back on the letter, who should it make sense too?” Myself indeed.
